چکیده
The giant freshwater prawn, Macrobrachium rosenbergii, is a prawn that has economic significance throughout the world. It exhibits sex-related growth dimorphism, whereby males grow significantly more rapidly than females. Therefore, study on molecular regulatory mechanism, which underlies sexual differentiation of M. both scientific and commercial importance. However, scarcity genomic transcriptomic resources severely limits our knowledge mechanisms in rosenbergii. Here, transcriptome sequencing several gonadic samples females rosenbergii was performed to investigate basis underlying gonadal development. Our results showed 2149 unigenes presented as differentially expressed genes (DEGs) ovaries compared testes males, contained 484 down-regulated 1665 up-regulated genes. Enrichment analysis DEGs revealed many these be related From analyses, confirmed by quantitative real-time PCR, male-related (Mrr, MRPINK, IR, IAGBP, TESK1, dsx) were up-regulated, female-related (ERR, Sxl3, cyclinB, Dmrt99B, PPP2A, ADCY9) also up-regulated. This indicates potential role play development Furthermore, multiple signal transduction pathways relating maturation spermatogenesis, including MAPK, identified herein. data supports previous ideas IAG IAGBP-IR signaling schemes could help regulation testis’ ERR gene regulate ovarian affecting expression ADCY9. from this provides incredibly usefully for future research practical aquaculture

Transcriptomics of a Giant Freshwater Prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii): De Novo Assembly, Annotation and Marker Discovery
BACKGROUND Giant freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii or GFP), is the most economically important freshwater crustacean species. However, as little is known about its genome, 454 pyrosequencing of cDNA was undertaken to characterise its transcriptome and identify genes important for growth. METHODOLOGY AND PRINCIPAL FINDINGS A collection of 787,731 sequence reads (244.37 Mb) obtained f...
متن کاملParvo-like virus in the hepatopancreas of freshwater prawns Macrobrachium rosenbergii cultivated in Thailand.
A survey of cultivated giant freshwater prawns Macrobrachium rosenbergii from Thailand revealed the presence of unusual spherical to ovoid inclusions in nuclei of hepatopancreas tubule epithelial cells. These began as small eosinophilic inclusions that became more basophilic as they increased in size. They were present in both R-cells and E-cells but were largest and deeply basophilic only in t...

Aeromonas infections are becoming a major risk factor in commercial aquaculture and it has been reported that a wide variety of fish and shellfish species are susceptible to this infection. In this study, 3 isolates of Aeromonas hydrophila were isolated from giant freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) cultured in Kuala Pilah Simbilan Nigri in East Malaysia. متن کاملStarvation Promotes Autophagy-Associated Maturation of the Ovary in the Giant Freshwater Prawn, Macrobrachium rosenbergii
Limitation of food availability (starvation) is known to influence the reproductive ability of animals. Autophagy is a lysosomal driven degradation process that protects the cell under metabolic stress conditions, such as during nutrient shortage. Whether, and how starvation-induced autophagy impacts on the maturation and function of reproductive organs in animals are still open questions. In t...
